SO THE OTHER DAY I WENT ON A RECON MISSION, AND DECIDED TO SEE ONE OF MY COMPETITORS LOT, TO CHECK OUT WHAT KIND OF VEHICLES THEIR SELLING, AND WHAT STANDARD OF QUALITY THEY ARE IN. NOT TO SOUND BIAS BUT CLOSE FRIENDS OF MINE HAVE PURCHASED CARS FROM THEM TO LATER REGRET THE PURCHASE. JUST BECAUSE MANY FAMOUS PEOPLE ARE ADVERTISING THE BUSINESS AND TELLING YOU THAT THEY ARE "SAVING THOUSANDS OF $$ ON A CAR" DOES NOT MEAN WHAT YOUR BUYING IS OF MERIT. I SUGGEST EVERYONE TO PLEASE DO THERE RESEARCH ON A VEHICLE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. I WOULD SUGGEST ASKING FOR THE CARFAX REPORT AND COMPARING IT TO THE VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING MATCHES CORRECTLY.
SO THERE I WAS WALKING ON THIS HUGE LOT OF CARS THAT SEEMS OVERWHELMING TO THE AVERAGE CONSUMER. I WENT CAR BY CAR OVER 75 CARS THAT I PERSONALLY DEAL WITH IN MY DEALER AND STARTED SEEING A PATTERN. THIS DEALER IN PARTICULAR SPECIALIZES IN PURCHASING CARS THAT HAVE BEEN WRECKED (I AM NOT SPEAKING OF SMALL WRECKS, I AM TALKING ABOUT BORDER LINE REBUILT TITLES, SALVAGE TITLE VEHICLES). THOUSANDS LESS? YES! BUT THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY. MOST OF THESE VEHICLES HAVE HAD AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND SEVERE WRECKS(DAMAGE TO THE FRAME, ETC). ON AVERAGE 8 OUT OF 10 CARS WERE IN SEVERE CRASHES CAUSING THE CAR TO BE TOWED AWAY FROM THE SCENE OF THE CRASH.
YOU WOULD EXPECT THE DEALER THAT YOU BOUGHT YOUR CAR FROM TO STAND BEHIND THERE VEHICLES 100%. BUT AFTER SEARCHING OVER THE 500 CARS THEY HAVE ON THEIR LOT THERE WAS NOT ONE VEHICLE WITH A WARRANTY!!! I FIND THAT VERY ODD THAT THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR OWN PRODUCT. AND HERE WE ARE GIVING CARS AT THE SAME COMPETITIVE RATE WITH A 45 DAY POWER TRAIN WARRANTY BECAUSE WE STAND BEHIND OUR CARS KNOWING WE ARE SERVING A GREAT PRODUCTS TO OUR CLIENTS.
CAREFUL WHO YOU PURCHASE CARS FROM JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE ON POWER 96, 99 JAMZ, MEGA 94.9 OR Y-100 DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE QUALITY CARS. SHOP AROUND! READ REVIEWS ABOUT INVENTORY AND MAKE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO PAY FOR. MOST REVIEWS USUALLY SHOW HOW AFTER CONSUMERS HAVE PURCHASED A CAR AND LATER ON HAVE CAME TO REGRET IT. MANY WOULD HAVE PAID A LITTLE MORE TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND KNOWING A GUARANTEE IS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE PRICE. BUY SMART! DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF. THEY MAKE THE BUYING PROCESS HECTIC SO YOU DO NOT REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE.
I'd have to agree with everything you mentioned. I purchased a car last year in October from Off Lease Auto Sales in Miami Lakes, Florida and within 15 days my car was at Volkswagen getting a repair. I was told my bearings were messed up so I went ahead and did the repair. On my contract when I purchased my car I was charged a 2500 warranty extension when I get to Volkswagen to turn in the loaner I was given turned out I had to pay out of pocket keep in mind my repair was roughly $1000. Pretty absurd right. Throughout the time that I have had my car, I have had several problems with my vehicle. My tires sensor is always going off even if my tires are fine, I've had to switch my headlights 3 times already.
ReplyDeleteNow I was looking into buying a new car and was going through my car documentation to see more or less where my car stands. When I had purchased the car I was not told my car had a previous accident. The only note that was made was that the car had minor dents and scratches (my parents wouldn't have permitted a crashed car). Now I have retrieved a car report of my car and was just advised my car had a previous accident causing major damage to the frame. So now I am stuck with this shitty car because I know I won't get even half of what I paid. Yes they do have low prices but they are also the biggest crooks stay away from off lease.
